greenalize – strong together
The founding of Greenalize is the result of the continuous development of ideas, concepts and business models against the backdrop of the currently changing demands on companies in times of the energy transition and increasingly expensive fossil resources. How can decisive impulses be developed in the commercial sector to accelerate the process of integrating renewable energy in the commercial sector?
Finding answers to this ended with the decision to found Greenalize and rethink energy consulting for commercial customers. “customized energy concepts” means focusing on the customer’s needs as much as possible, developing holistic energy solutions that incorporate various renewable energy sources and incorporating the customer’s framework conditions into the concepts both in the short and long term.
Wojtek Dziegielewski is CEO and co-founder of greenalize and has held key positions at market-leading companies, where he has been instrumental in opening up new markets and scaling innovative business models.
He came into contact with the challenges of the transformation within companies towards renewable energy at an early stage: “The key to the energy transition lies in the balance between ecology and economy. Where sustainability meets efficiency, real progress is made. The transition to sustainable energy is not a burden on the economy, but the engine for innovation, growth and long-term economic stability.”
After 10 years in the travel and retail industry (including Rewe/Dertour Group), where he was responsible for opening up new source markets, he ventured into the start-up world and helped develop and scale the car2go business model within shared electric mobility. He later played a key role in business models for electrically powered air cabs and cargo drones (Volocopter) and took these to a proof of concept level. He then helped establish charging infrastructure concepts in urban living spaces in Europe (Chargepoint) and before founding greenalize, he turned Yeply into one of Europe’s leading providers of mobile bike services.
